Haribhakti Charitable Trust (HCT) was setup by Dr. Jayant B. Haribhakti in the year 1977. The primary purpose of the trust was to help the needy people and donations to various social, medical and educational institutions.

In the beginning the trust was conceived with a small corpus and it consisted of the Dr. Jayant B. Haribhakti as the chairman and 4 other trustees. Initially the donation was given to needy people and left over was given to various organizations. Gradually as years passed by regular donations came into the trust and the scope of charities was also increased. Later the trust was granted Section 80G.
